As I forecast in the last issue of the Lantern, we have finally reached the stage when we felt that it was worthwhile to launch the London Lantern as a web-site of its own. It can be found at www.londonlantern.com or www.london-lantern.com, and offers the sort of interactivity that is impossible with an Online E-Zine.
Do tell me what you think of it, and please continue to send me e-mails about London topics or subjects that interest you.
We are also launching two other sites at the same time:
The Stately Home Guide, with every major historic house and site in England, Scotland and Wales contained on it, plus a superb Search facility.
VIP Hotels, which not only offers you properly selected hotels throughout Great Britain, but also allows you to book Online at highly competitive prices for over 500 of them.

Great site! And I'm looking forward to visiting the sites for the homes and hotels, not to mention checking out the restaurant guide.
Can't quite say how I ever started receiving the London Lantern, but I thoroughly enjoy each issue. I live near Nashville, so it's interesting to read the comments of Mr. Rickman. I'm also trying to stockpile information for a trip across the pond next year. Keep up the good work!!
